What we do, and how we think about it
A freight forwarder arranges shipments on a client's behalf. That means comparing routes, booking space with airlines, shipping lines and transport operators, preparing documentation, and coordinating customs formalities at both ends of the journey.
That is different from a parcel courier. Couriers carry small packages through their own network at fixed service levels. Forwarding is built around the particular cargo: its size, its value, its destination and how quickly it needs to arrive.
